Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned AI Back-End Engineer with a strong interest in developing Large Language Model (LLM) applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust backend architectures to support LLM agents and applications.

• Engage closely with other developers and scientists to deliver AI product features.

• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and scaling of API endpoints to serve data and AI predictions to the front-end.

• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the backend systems as the data volume and user base grow.

• Optimize the storage and retrieval of vast textual datasets required for LLM operations.

• Prioritize the security and integrity of user data and implement best practices to prevent data breaches.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in LLM technology, backend engineering trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience as a Back-End Developer, with a track record of working on sizable projects.

• Proficiency in backend programming languages and frameworks suitable for LLM integrations (e.g., Python, Node.js).

• Familiarity with LLMs, their deployment, and their maintenance is paramount.

• Adeptness in handling RESTful APIs and understanding modern database technologies.

• A strong advocate for rigorous code testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices.

• Passionate about AI, particularly in the context of life sciences.
