Account Executive - Enterprise Pharma & Large Biotechs

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive revenue growth within large pharmaceutical companies and established biotechs. This role focuses on complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with emphasis on enterprise-scale implementations. You will be selling strategic solutions that transform regulatory operations across global organizations and help our customers bring medicines to patients faster and at a lower price point. To be successful you must be adept at navigating technical requirements in a traditionally service based industry. This requires navigating complex organizational requirements such as having numerous decision makers, robust procurement requirements, and alignment to vendor partnerships including workflow optimization, and data management practices. We have established a lighthouse Top 20 customer with proven success and a handful of early customers on path to scaling.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sales Performance

  • Achieve annual quota of $2.0M+ in new ARR within enterprise pharma and large biotech accounts, over 5B in market cap

  • Manage complex, multi-threaded sales cycles spanning 9-18 months

  • Build and maintain pipeline of 3-4x quota coverage with high-value opportunities

  • Conduct executive-level presentations to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders

  • Develop compelling business cases showing operational efficiency and cost optimization at scale

Strategic Account Development

  • Target Top 50 pharma companies and large biotechs with $5B+ market cap and greater

  • Navigate complex organizational structures with multiple decision-makers and influencers

  • Build relationships across Regulatory Operations, IT, Digital Transformation, and Procurement teams

  • Position Peer AI as strategic partner for digital transformation initiatives

  • Develop account plans for multi-year expansion opportunities across therapeutic areas

Solution Selling & Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with technical teams on API integration requirements and proof-of-concepts

  • Coordinate complex demos showcasing integration with CTMS, EDC, and existing tech stacks

  • Lead RFP responses and vendor evaluation processes

  • Work with legal and procurement teams on enterprise contract negotiations

  • Ensure alignment between technical capabilities and business requirements

Relationship Management

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders across multiple business units

  • Drive thought leadership through speaking opportunities and customer case studies

Must‑Have Qualifications

Experience

  • 8+ years of enterprise B2B software sales experience in life sciences

  • 3+ years selling to large pharma or Fortune 500 companies with deal sizes $500K-3M+

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in complex, long-cycle sales environments 

  • Experience with regulatory technology, clinical trial software, or pharma IT solutions strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory operations and enterprise workflows

  • Expertise in solution selling methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or similar)

  • Strong executive presence and ability to present to C-level audiences

  • Experience managing multi-million dollar sales cycles with 6+ stakeholders

  • Proficiency with enterprise sales & CRM tools

Nice‑to‑Have

Industry Expertise

  • Comprehensive knowledge of global regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines)

  • Understanding of enterprise IT procurement processes and security requirements

  • Familiarity with pharma digital transformation initiatives and AI adoption trends

  • Network of relationships within target enterprise accounts preferred

Success Metrics (First 18 Months)

  • Achieve 100%+ of new ARR quota

  • Close 3-5 new enterprise logo deals annually 

  • Develop 2-3 strategic account plans with multi-year expansion roadmaps

  • Achieve 90%+ customer satisfaction scores and successful implementations
